This essentially implies you should stack agility, instead of strength.
Agility still gives critical strike and dodge, I presume (unconfirmed).
Also with Intellect adding a point of attackpower, we're basically forced into the Hunter gear niche (mail).
Unless you're comfortable skimping on your mana capacity - which is doubtful since I see Maelstrom Weapon to be a gas guzzler.
There'll likely be typical DK/Din/War jewelry as well different Rog/Hun/Sha jewelry.
So it'll be...
... the "Delicate (Cardinal Ruby-RED)" cut worth +20 agility,
... and the "Wicked (Flawless Ametrine-ORANGE)" cut worth +20 attackpower and +10 critical strike.
... or the "Precise (Cardinal Ruby-RED)" cut worth +20 expertise.
The red cut has a preference over the orange one for PvE (think BoKings).
I'm not sure how bright it is to stack expertise gems when you haven't gotten around 30% critical strike rating.
Although there are Armor Penetration cuts for RED gems, the "Maelstrom Weapon" talent for Enhancement puts more emphasis on spelldamage dealt by a melee Shaman.
Agility gems definately boost spelldamage both in raw damage as well as in critical strike chance, whereas Armor Penetration does not.
All in all though, looking to be a very interesting puzzle again!
ok, so i guess i could change from static shock to spectral transformation 2/2 and 1/1 feral spirit =)
and, yeah, it'll be hard to reach elemental fury without fucking up your enhancement tree =/
it'd be fun though to try at least =P
yeah but how usefull would elemental focus be with the spell crit rate you have on an enhancement shaman?
( ive never played above lv60 so i dont know ;P )
and if spirit wolves are worth their ponts i'd rather take the build i have posted above yours
