Well playoffs is a totally different thing than groupstages. Yugoslavia ALWAYS looked promising and aspiring in the groupstages but then in playoffs they fell, like Spain always have done. I think Germany or Italy will win, they are tough, disciplined teams that always manage to crawl on forward. Tho without cannavaro it might be some problems for the Italians (hate that chiellini dude). Why I am the only one that voted for Italy ? 8)

Watched the Germany Croatia game at my Croatian-born friend. If they go thru today he will go to Basel :)

You Swedes be happy you don't get humiliated by Fenz and his Dutchmen :wink: Russia was good in the group stage but I doubt they can stand a chance against a very effective Dutch team. Semi-Final ITA vs ESP will be interesting though ...

Poor Portugal, but damn Germany played a helluva game there, wouldn't have thought that after 3 poor games.. lets see whether we can take Croatia or even Turkey (that's gonna be interesting here in Berlin... lots of Turks).

Enjoy the further games :)

feel bad for holland, you never seem to make it to the end. But russia was great also, and if you compare km runned per player, russia was superior. Too bad, better luck next time... Exellent game...:D
