Hunter tips for tomorrow

Post by Fenz »

So - if you play today or tonite when you're all done, do the following:

1. Buy at least 3 stacks of Roasted Quail
2. Abandon any older pets you do not plan to keep post-patch.
3. Stable your other pet(s).
4. Log out at Frostsaber Rock in Winterspring.

1.7 goes live and you log in.

1. Log in and immediately find and tame a Frostsaber Stalker
2. Fight a few things and learn Prowl 3
3. Abandon the cat
4. Head East of Frostsaber Rock and find and tame a Winterspring Screecher
5. Fight a few things and learn Screech 4
6. Abandon the bird.
7. Head south to Everlook, catch a ride to Felwood.
8. Find and tame a Felpaw Wolf.
9. Fight a few things and learn Furious Howl 3. (Rank 4 is Worgs in BRS)

Mix up the order if you plan to keep any of these pets (Since you'll have to have the appropriate type of pet from the same family to use any of them). Remember there is a stable master in both Everlook and Felwood if you need to drop one of these "keepers" off.

This leaves all but Scorpid Poison learned but you have to head to Silithus or Burning Steppes for that.

I figure it should take less than an hour start to finish, then Hearth back to town to deal with Talent respec. Since I was working it out in my head I decided to write it down here instead so I can refer back to it. If anyone can add a tip that will shorten this any or make it more efficient please share.
I ain't leaving without your soul and I am sober this time.
