The Mage is a very important and helpful party member. One of the Mage's most powerful abilities is Polymorph, which allows it to control the number of monsters currently attacking the party. The mage is also able to use a teleportation spell, allowing it to travel through the land more quickly. Mages can even summon in food and drink to help everyone recover faster from battle.

Strengths:

- Can Summon Food and Drink

- Powerful Area of Effect Damage Spells

- Can Teleport around
Ahahahahahaha, pwned! 8)

Water plz, kthxbye. Oh, and a portal to UC would be nice.

SL ftw :D

Weaknesses:

Can only wear cloth armor
Very fragile and easily killed in certain situations
Soul Shards take up inventory space

If only ALL warlocks in blizz forum read this first :p

Still happy with my MD/Ruin build. If needed I just fast cast a VW and sac him for a sweet damageshield. But usually I just seduce/nuke.

If I would take SL I think I would only play with the Felhunter.
I ain't leaving without your soul and I am sober this time.

true he or IT may be the best choise but i play with succ anyways for seduce.. soullink works pretty well with her 2. and with demology speck we can spawn a fast felhunter if getting stabbed by a mage/preist/wloc anyways :p

been there done that.. cooldown sux though.. but if fear isnt break u can summon without fel domination with ease :D

Haha, you guys are just FotM spec imo. :)

I guess we'll see next MC run what works better in the long run. Saccing FH/VW or darkpacting an imp. I think the last one provides more mana over time (even with the current bug). Fenz said something about 170 hp / tick (which is 3s i think), in which time I can Darkpact twice. The only overhead I suffer is taking some distance from bosses. I think my imp regen is fast enough te be fully replenished when I'm OOM again. If not, I can just Drain Life for 110 dmg/s, or Drain Mana indefinately for 120 dmg/s, until he is fully recovered. AND I don't need a succy out for extra dmg. 8)

Damage junkie  I am gonna make sure debuffs stay on mobs etc instead of shadowburning to squeeze out a bit more damage :)

The thread reduction from the imp didn't work too well in Scholo, curious to see how it works in MC.

Well, full supression should make my debuffs stick pretty okay. Besides, not having Ruin really helps in the aggro department. Last time I did UBRS I wasn't even in the #5 of damage taken. :)

What is cool about saccing a VW is that it puts you quite high in the "healing done" list. :)
