I like the exclusion of the 2s bracket for risk reward.
Why they don't just change it into reward-for-time-spent I have no idea.

Then at least you'll have people playing for the fun of it, rather then cheesing their way into the top ratings.

Other then somewhat prettier graphics in a similar art style... I don't quite see the difference with World of Warcraft :)

Looks like their main planet of the setting blew up more spectacular then in Warcraft though.
Props for that one.

Well the Nagle disable can work. I've used it in WoW with Vista SP1, I believe, since before that Windows didn't really care what the TCPAck setting was. As for the "secure traffic gets prioritized", I believe that's a bogus explanation. Most techies are serious about the " Network Ne...

Nice.
That'll keep pure dps/tank classes glued to the screen while the rest of the raid does the rezzing, buffing and healing after a wipe.

Peggle was one of those nice additions that came with the Orange Box.

It's sad yes.

Usually napkin math is pretty easy to do and shows it very well.
Especially since they're referring to Arcane Mages it's pretty painful letting a thing like that go live.

But Blizzard's got a proud tradition -when it comes to WoW at least- of pulling down their own pants.
Grats guys!

Installed it and tried it for the full tutorial (30 mins or so?). Now I have a 21" LCD at 1900ish by 1200ish and the "interface messier then MS Access" coupled with "eyestrain eyestrain", as mentioned in Zero Punctuation's review, is pretty much spot on when it comes to EVE....

ZP has got a good review of EVE . When you scan forums concerning the game it's essentially a 6-month real time investment before you get to the interesting part. I think most people enter a state of entertainment rigor mortis before that. Was a thread somewhere on the net as well concerning this a...

Yeah what Fenz said.

Just scoped out a video on darkfall (from the TH forum).
Aside from the goodlooking graphics in 3D part, everything else oozes UO.

Too bad, since it means they've screwed themselves into a tiny niche :)
